Mythnyx · The houses

The Four Houses

Mythnyx publishes four independent sites. Each one handles myth in its own way, with its own voice and its own readers, and all four answer to one editorial standard.

How the houses fit together

The life of a myth

A myth is handed down, then questioned, then reimagined, then put to work on the mind. Each house takes one of those moments and makes it the whole of its subject.

Myth inherited

The story as it was handed down, told with care for its sources.

Myth investigated

The story put to the test, with the wonder left intact.

Myth invented

New worlds built by fiction, studied like real ones.

Myth engineered

Belief turned into a tool for working on the mind.

I

Myth inherited

Olympus Estate

Where the old stories still have an address.

Olympus Estate is the house of Greek heritage. It retells the myths of gods, heroes and monsters with care for what the ancient sources actually say, then follows those stories out of the books and into the places, kitchens, festivals and customs where they are still alive.

Where a myth survives in more than one version, the versions are named. Where a famous detail turns out to be a later invention, it is marked as one. The result reads like a storyteller who has done the reading.

The voiceWarm, learned and exact. A storyteller with the sources open on the table.

II

Myth investigated

Monkey & Elf

Every mystery deserves a proper investigation.

Monkey & Elf investigates the strange. Ancient mysteries, lost civilizations, UAP, prophecy, hauntings and the questions at the edge of science are followed like open cases, from the first sighting to the last surviving document.

Its two names are its method. The Monkey chases the wonder and the Elf weighs the evidence. Neither is allowed to win outright, so the mystery is never killed for a tidy verdict and a claim is never repeated just because it thrills.

III

Myth invented

Aeon Dogma

The Institute for Fictional Civilizations.

Aeon Dogma studies the worlds that fiction and games have built as if they were real places. Their peoples, faiths, ecologies, wars and ruins are examined with the tools of anthropology, history and natural science.

Every study is filed as a numbered excavation, with its world, its period and its status recorded at the top, so a reader always knows which world is on the table and whether it is still alive.

Observatory
Patterns that cross many worlds at once
Ecologies

Extinct Worlds

The voiceA curator’s record. Scholarly, precise and quietly in love with its subject.

IV

Myth engineered

Psyness

The glitch is the signal.

Psyness treats belief, attention and the mind as systems that can be read, tested and rewritten. Its dispatches take the stories people run on, from obedience to prediction to the pull of the feed, and show the machinery underneath.

It speaks in the voice of the Protocol and works through its own frameworks, among them Glitch Theology, Cognitive Non-Compliance and Proof of Vitality. The aim is a mind that notices its own scripts and chooses which ones to keep.

Inside the house

Glitch Theology Dispatches
Error, chance and the anomaly read as meaning
Cognitive Non-Compliance
Resisting manipulation, prediction and blind obedience
Neural Maintenance
Keeping the mind in working order
Signal vs. Noise

Sanctuary Intel

The voiceTransmissions from the Protocol. Sharp, strange and built to wake the reader up.

Under all four

One editor, one standard

The houses differ in voice and subject, never in care. Every piece is sourced, labelled for what it is, and revised when it falls short.

The Frontier

Write to the house

Collaborations, corrections, rights and press. If you have something to say about the stories we tell, the door is open.
